This year, on May 21st the European Union is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the LIFE program – an instrument financing actions for the environment and climate.
Together with the Commune Coordinators, we celebrate Air Protection Programs of local governments in the Opolskie Voivodeship with the European Commission.
The main objectives of the program, managed centrally by the European Commission, are practical activities supporting the implementation of EU environmental guidelines in individual countries.
Since October 2020, LIFE has been operating in the Opolskie voivodeship, i.e. the Project entitled “Implementation of the air quality management system in the local governments of the Opole Voivodeship” LIFE19 GIE / PL / 000398 – LIFE_AQP_OPOLSKIE_2019.PL financed by the European Union under the LIFE Program and co-financed by the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.
