On September 25-26, 2024, the Life Opolskie group participated in the international conference “SECOND INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON AIR POLLUTION – MOVING TOWARDS CLEAN AIR FOR EUROPE” organized in Budapest by LIFE IP HungAIRy and coordinated by HungaroMet Hungarian Meteorological Service. Our presentation entitled “Implementation of an air quality management system in local governments of the Opole Voivodeship” was warmly received. The main activities were discussed, which focus on improving the competences of local government administration, appointing certified energy advisors and replacing ineffective and non-ecological heat sources. The summary of our speech was the international premiere of the promotional and information film of the LIFE_AQP_Opolskie_2019 Project.
