From November 1-3, 2023, the XVI conference on air protection in state administration took place in the town of Prerov, Czech Republic. It was attended by representatives of the Czech Ministry of the Environment, local government administration in the Czech Republic, the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute, and the LIFE_AQP_Opolskie project team from the UMWO, invited by Mgr. Ing. Jitka Hejlová – Head of the Department of Environment and Agriculture, our project partner from the Olomouc Region.
The conference was officially opened by Peter Holub, Director General of the Climate Protection Department at the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic. The main moderator was Ing. Kurt Dědič, Director of the Air Protection Department at the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic. Among the guests was also our partner from the Moravian-Silesian Region, Ing. Marek Bruštík, Head of the Department of Environment and Agriculture.
The LIFE_AQP_Opolskie project, presented at the conference by project manager Maciej Rojewski, garnered significant interest during the presentation as well as in subsequent informal discussions.
