On May 17 and 18, 2023, during the international conference ENVIRO 2023 https://www.envirokonference.cz/en/, a number of practical and substantive information of both countries was exchanged in the field of waste management, air and water protection, environmental impact assessments, integrated systems, heating, use of energy and raw materials.
The conference was attended by representatives of the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech and Slovak Republics, the Czech-Slovak Inspection for Environmental Protection, representatives of state and local government administration, experts from important industrial and energy companies in both countries, including Mr. Marek Brustik – vedoucí oddělení ochrany ovzduší a integrované prevence odbor životního prostředí a zemědělství (Head of the Air Protection and Integrated Permits Department of the Department of Environment and Agriculture of the Moravian-Silesian Region), Mrs. Gabriela Moravcikova – head of the project management department of Moravskoslezske Energ etiquette Center.
Mr. Maciej Rojewski, project manager of the LIFE_AQP_Opolskie_2019 project, during the presentation at the Enviro 2023 conference, presented and discussed the goals, activities and stages of the LIFE Project entitled “Implementation of the air quality management system in the local governments of the Opolskie Voivodeship”, LIFE19 GIE/PL/000398 – LIFE_AQP_Opolskie_2019.
