The event was opened and guests were welcomed by Mr. Sławomir Mazurek, Deputy President of the NFOŚiGW. During the plenary session, the following speakers took the floor:
- Minister of Climate and Environment, Joanna Książek-Wieder – Director of the Department of European Funds.
- Maja Mikosińska – Director of the LIFE Environment Department, Executive Agency for Climate, Infrastructure and Environment (CINEA), European Commission.
- Leszek Jóskowiak – Expert in the LIFE Department of the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management.
During the ceremony, attendees had the opportunity to learn about the specifics of the LIFE programme and the LIFE projects being implemented in the country. The achievements of the 15 years of the LIFE Program in the NFOŚiGW were summarized, and the committee presented 20 awards in 13 categories.
The meeting provided an opportunity to visit the prepared project stands for Life_AQP_Opolskie www.powietrze.opolskie.pl, engage in numerous discussions between projects, establish cooperation, deepen knowledge, and exchange experiences, serving as a source of inspiration for future projects.
