What is the “Mój Prąd” (My Electricity) Program?

The My Electricity priority program is an instrument established to support the segment of photovoltaic (PV) micro-installations by increasing the production of electricity from this source. Its implementation will significantly contribute to meeting Poland’s obligations on the international arena in the field of renewable energy development.

The program is a unique instrument in Poland, an instrument dedicated to supporting the development of prosumer energy, and specifically supporting the segment of photovoltaic (PV) micro-installations.

The implementation of the program will be a strong impulse for the further development of prosumer energy and will significantly contribute to meeting Poland’s international obligations in the field of renewable energy development.

Which projects are subsidized?

Projects involving the purchase and installation of photovoltaic micro-installations – with an installed electrical capacity of 2 kW to 10 kW, serving the needs of existing residential buildings.

Projects increasing the power of existing installations are not eligible for co-financing.

Who can become a beneficiary of the Program?

Program beneficiaries may be natural persons who generate electricity for their own needs, who have a comprehensive agreement (with the Distribution Network Operator – DSO, energy company) regulating issues related to the introduction of electricity generated in a micro-installation to the grid.

What is the form of the grant?

Co-financing is in the form of a subsidy up to 50% of eligible costs, not more than PLN 3,000. PLN for one project.

How should the application be submitted?

The application is submitted only in electronic form.

What is the application deadline?

Applications should be submitted between 01/07/2021 and 22/12/2021.

What will you gain?

Up to 50% return on investment costs, up to PLN 3,000 per installation.

The subsidy is exempt from personal income tax.

You can deduct investment costs that have not been covered by the support (thermomodernization relief).

Installation of photovoltaic panels pays for itself on average 6-8 years after installation.
